Modern Relic / artifact craft

Objects with memory, made by modern means.

Modern Relic explores sculptural, tactile pieces that feel found rather than manufactured, then brings them into being through scanning, design, printing, and careful finishing.

Modern Relic
Old Surface
Texture, patina, form, and the quiet tension of handled objects.
New Method
Digital sculpting, 3D scanning, print workflows, and repeatable files.
Small Editions
Designed for prototypes, limited runs, installations, and custom pieces.

Brand study

Ancient cues, engineered into the present.

Modern Relic is a design-forward project inside Zentropy Solutions. It is a place for objects that sit between artifact, prototype, sculpture, and product.

The work is deliberately tactile: faceted forms, stone-like mass, subtle gold, pale mineral tones, and the precision of digital craft kept just visible enough.

What it becomes

A refined path from reference to object.

Artifact Studies

Exploratory forms inspired by fragments, busts, heirlooms, tools, and objects with a sense of previous life.

Digital Sculpt

Shape development, scan cleanup, proportion studies, and print-ready geometry for sculptural or functional pieces.

Material Finish

Surface direction for resin, print texture, metallic notes, stone-like character, and restrained post-processing.

Process

A careful build, not a loud one.

The process keeps the romance in the object while using practical modern tooling to make the piece editable, printable, and repeatable.

  1. Gather

Collect references, dimensions, scans, textures, and the feeling the object needs.

  2. Shape

Model or sculpt the form until it holds together physically and visually.

  3. Make

Prototype through resin, FDM, or hybrid workflows, then refine fit and finish.

  4. Edition

Prepare files, finishing notes, and small-run production details where needed.

Good uses

For pieces that need presence.

  • A display object needs a tactile, historical edge without becoming theatrical.
  • A scanned form needs restoration, remixing, or a print-ready second life.
  • A product concept needs sculptural character before it becomes manufacturable.
  • A small edition needs consistent files, material direction, and finish notes.

Commission / collaborate

Bring the fragment, sketch, scan, or strange idea.

Share the reference material and the intended use. We will help shape a restrained, manufacturable path from mood to model to finished object.
